Your Antenna kit will come with a 3.5 inch long by 3/4 inch thick antenna housing that is sealed against moisture and dirt, 8 foot antenna cable and 12VDC wire that is plenty long for the hard to reach areas.  Can be mounted anywhere in your vehicle such as in your glove box, on your dash, in your trunk, in your hatchback, in your rear window.  Does not have to be grounded (radio must be properly grounded though).

How to put it on!
Installation is very simple, comes with detailed online instructions. All you have to do is locate your power antenna on the inside of the (Trunk or Front Fender) where your antenna is currently mounted. Also in the same area, unplug antenna from radio cable & Power Source. (No need to rewire back to the radio since this antenna plugs into your existing antenna cable). Lastly, run the power supply wire to a 12 volt power source (you can connect to your unplugged power antenna connector).
